In Canada, there is visitors visa for traveling and visiting friends and relatives.

To obtain a visitors visa, you must prove your motive is not for immigration. You should have a good job in China, enough savings, and preferably property. If you are a young female, your chance will become slim.

Going with a travel group is not bad an option in getting a visa, but you still have to qualify the above. After that, you can continue to stay till your visa expires.

When you are ready, bring your passport and all support document to the Beijing visa office. If you are rejected, forget it. If accepted, you will be issued a visa with the last date you must arrive at Canada.

When you arrive at a Canadian airport, the immigration officer will stamp your passport and write the date, which is the last date your must leave Canada. If no date, it is 180 days from your arrival.

Within 180 days, you can submit an amendment to vary your condition of stay to Vergaville, Alberta to extend it for another 180 days.
